My family celebrated my dad's 60th birthday on 16 August 2001. Now, as every good, knowledgeable Chinese person knows, the 60th birthday is a huge event, one for which, a commemorative monument should be built. As part of her duties as a good wife (and a person who just LOVES to entertain), my mum threw a huge party. The following pages are a pictorial account of that said day. They were originally written for my sister as she could not be in attendance, hence the strange formatting.
